Insurance Fraud And How To Avoid It

From the desk of Tami Kennedy, senior reviewer

Wouldn’t it be nice to know that when you look over a life insurance contract, and sign your John Hancock on the dotted line, the company you’re entrusting your family’s life to is a company that will pay your family’s benefits as soon as possible after your death?Of course it would.

You do know you’re going to die, right?  Everyone dies. It’s the one factor of life that has been proven happen in 100% of people’s lives.

But what happens if you live an unexpectedly long life and your medical coverage doesn’t last to take care of you?  Was it a mistake on your behalf?  Or did the agent from your insurance company “forget” to tell you exactly what you were signing for, just so he could make a few extra bucks in commission?  Insurance agents are a different type of people.  I, personally, have been a victim of insurance fraud from people I thought I could trust—like my own family!

Whether I invest in an annuity, universal life, or term product, I want the death benefits to be delivered to my family as soon as possible—no matter what!  We have all had a friend or relative pass away and heard the stories of his insurance agent hand-delivering his family a check for an overwhelming amount of money.  How great would that be in such a time of loss?  But . . .

What happens when you become a victim of insurance fraud? What do you do? What can you do?

Some of you reading this might have already fallen prey to health insurance fraud.  And that may have given you a bad taste in your mouth toward insurance companies.  But just keep reading a little bit further.

I don’t know about you, but I try to find the good in people.  And I have seen people (good people) involved in fraudulent claims time and time again.  Yes, sometimes bad things happen to good people.  But they don’t always have to. And I finally got fed up with it!  I was tired of getting the runaround.  Conscientiously knowing that millions of people were victims of fraudulent insurance claims, I had to do something—just out of principle.  So I decided to get to the bottom of this widespread scam that most Americans are unaware of.  I decided to find at least one legitimate company from whom consumers could buy an honest life insurance policy.

Over a period of 7 months, I contacted the owners and office managers of hundreds of brokers and insurance companies throughout the nation, posing as an investor.  Companies not only informed me how they rip off their clients to make a fortune, but they bragged about it!

I learned all the ins and outs of selling insurance to people just like you and I.  And, unfortunately, the ins and outs consist of money going out of our pockets and in to theirs.  Why does this happen?  It happens because nine times out of 10, the contract you sign and the contract the agent is telling you you’re signing are completely different.

This is what I repeatedly found with insurance agents and companies:

  • Selling what a claim does, not what it is
  • Promising security when, in fact, increasing risk
  • Poor customer service—selling, not servicing
  • Pending lawsuits
  • Multiple unpaid claims

I quickly realized the agents at these insurance companies were selling high-commission policies that did nothing for their clients and everything for themselves. The company owners knew it.  And they were laughing all the way to the bank!

Of course, I didn’t respond when they asked if I was still interested in investing into their companies.

While I was sadly sifting through the results of all my research, I found only two legitimate insurance companies who dealt 100% honestly with their clients.

The agents from these companies don’t just focus on high commissions.  They dot every “i” and cross every “t” just to make sure you’re completely covered for your health benefits.  No hidden fees.  No surprises.  They explain what is covered and what is not covered in your policy.  With these companies, you know what you’re getting.  And you get it!

I even went a little further and talked to random clients from these two insurance companies.  You’ll be glad to know I found nothing but good reports.

But don’t take my word for it.  Get a quote and see for yourself!

If you’re interested in going with these companies, I’d advise you to join now.  During my research, the owners informed me that they can lock you in a tremendously low rate this month, but only because of the huge amount of business they’re getting.  (By the way, you didn’t hear that from
me. . .)

My quest to find one honest insurance company has come to an end with two.  And I highly recommend both.  I must say, I was disappointed with most of what I found with other insurance companies.  And unless you want to get ripped off, I strongly advise you to not take the chance of going through any other company than the two listed below.  But whatever you decide, I wish you the best of luck.

Regards,

Tami Kennedy
